Alaskan Malamute Carabiner Keychain
When looking at an Alaskan Malamute, you might initially think it is actually a Siberian Husky, but don’t be fooled! As their names suggest, Siberian Huskies are originally from Siberia (Russia) and Alaskan Malamutes are their American cousins, hailing from – you guessed it – Alaska. The Malamute is also larger than the Husky, but not by much, outweighing them by about 30 pounds and standing only an inch or two taller. Although different, both breeds were originally used to pull loads via sled through harsh Northern winter conditions. Malamutes typically have long, think, and fluffy black hair on their backs, with white hair on their undersides.
