Bengal Carabiner Keychain
Most notably spotted like a jungle jaguar, Bengal cats indeed do take their name from the Asian leopard’s scientific name, Felis bengalensis. The breed originated in the 1950’s when researchers at Loyola University crossed leopards with house cats to attempt to pass leopard’s resistance to feline leukemia on to hybrid offspring. By 1983, the Bengal was recognized by the International Cat Association as an official breed. Highly active and smart, Bengals have an athletic body fitting of a cat that looks like it came from the jungle.
