Black Rhino

The Black Rhinoceros is one of the larger rhino species, with the horns reaching up to 1.5 meters in length. They use their horns for defence, intimidation, digging up roots, and breaking branches during feeding. Though they are large and tough, black rhinoceros have poor eyesight, making them rely on their very strong senses of hearing and smell to understand what is happening around them. Black Rhinos are critically endangered but are slowly recovering thanks to conservation efforts.
