Borzoi Carabiner Keychain

In Russian, ‘Borzoi’ means agility and speed, and when looking at these dogs the name fits well. Tall with thin, long legs and a body with a shaggy, medium-length coat, borzois were first bred to hunt hares, so speed was essential. Thin faces equaling their thin bodies give borzois the appearance of Greyhound ancestry, but this is not true. Actually, borzois descended from a now extinct breed of dog known as the Lapp sled dog. Despite a regal, silky appearance, borzois’ coats need little maintenance, making them perfect for owners with busy schedules.
