Long Horn Cow

The Long Horn Cow, or Texas Longhorn, is a breed of cattle known for their horns that can extend to over 1.8 meters for bulls and 2.1 meters for steers and cows. They are also known for their diverse coloring and can be a wide mix of colors but are most dominantly dark red and white mixes. Longhorns are direct descendants of the first cattle in the New World, dating back to being brought over to the Caribbean island of Hispaniola in 1493 by Christopher Columbus.
