Moose
The North American Moose is actually the largest member of the deer family. Known as the 'Eurasian elk' in other parts of the globe, the male moose, known as a 'bull', stand about 6 to 7 feet tall and weighs up to 1500 pounds! Typically found in mountain meadows and dense forests, moose inhabit the temperate and subarctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Broad, palm-shaped antlers are the most distinctive feature of this majestic creature.
