Peregrine Falcon - PART ONLY

The Peregrine has been a favorite among falconers for centuries. The American Peregrine has been threatened by the spread of agriculture. Unfortunately, the falcon preys on many small birds and mammals that often ingest seeds treated with pesticides. This concentrates on their eggs and causes them to be infertile. Falcons are truly one of nature’s most remarkable creatures. In their stoop, or dive, they have been clocked at speeds of up to 250 mph.
