River Dolphin - PART ONLY

Chinese river dolphins are not just marine dolphins that swim up rivers; they are aquatic mammals that live permanently in fresh water rivers. River dolphins are less active and are much slower swimmers than their ocean cousins. Though they don’t see well, their use of ultrasonics for echo-location enables them to avoid rocks, small mesh fishing nets and other obstacles in rivers. Unfortunately this harmless but curious creature is killed for food, blubber and oil that is used for medicinal liniment.
