Silverback Gorilla

Silverback Gorillas are the largest of the world's primates and live in select parts of African forests. Gorillas are very sociable animals, living in groups (called 'bands') of 5 to 30, so it's no surprise they spend most of their day eating, sleeping, and grooming one another. Their sociable nature may explain their endangered status, often getting too close to humans, or worse, poachers. Silverback Gorillas have been previously portrayed as aggressive in nature, but typically tend to make lots of noise, rather than physically attacking.
