Wild Turkey Track

The Wild Turkey is the heaviest of the Galliformes, or ground-dwelling birds, making them among the most popular game animals in the world. Unlike their domesticated counterparts, wild turkeys are agile fliers. Though they often don't fly very high, wild turkeys can fly distances of up to 1/4 mile. Thanks to their large size, wild turkeys can fight off predators by simply spreading their wings and puffing their chests to intimidate. If that's not enough, they can use the spurs on the back of their legs to scratch while also biting with their beaks. It is estimated that there are 7 million wild turkeys in the world today, most of which reside in the Southeastern US.
